Atabey, the first full-service Puerto Rican restaurant in Ithaca, NY. From the creators of La Bamba Cuisine, is looking for motivated and reliable Cooks. This behind-the-scenes role is essential to helping the kitchen run smoothly and efficiently as we prepare delicious, culturally rich dishes.

Responsibilities:

Support kitchen main cook by assisting with food prep, ingredient storage, and general cleaning
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and kitchen organization
Follow food safety protocols, including proper handling, labeling, and storage
Restock kitchen supplies and ingredients as needed throughout service

Qualifications:

Experience on plating different dishes preferred
Ability to stand for long periods and lift 40+ lbs
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
Dependable and able to work in a fast-paced team environment
