Atabey, the first Puerto Rican sit-down restaurant in Ithaca NY. From the owners of La Bamba Cuisine, is looking for passionate and experienced Cooks to join our back-of-house team. Be part of a culinary concept celebrating Puerto Rican culture and hospitality in the heart of Ithaca.

Responsibilities:

Prepare authentic Puerto Rican and Latin-inspired dishes according to established recipes
Maintain exceptional food quality, freshness, and presentation
Follow proper food safety and sanitation practices at all times
Operate efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen during peak hours
Communicate and collaborate with fellow kitchen staff and leadership

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years experience in a professional kitchen
Experience with Latin/Caribbean cuisine strongly preferred
Ability to follow recipes and consistently execute plates to spec
Must be dependable, organized, and detail-oriented
Flexible availability preferred
